Chris Hockenberry, Administrative Assistant

Chris served four years in the U. S. Army and was stationed in Germany , Ft Campbell, KY, and Haiti . After leaving the military, he enrolled at the Harlan Regional Technology Center in Harlan KY. He completed 18 months in the computer repair program and transferred to SKCTC where he completed an AAS degree in Network Information Systems Technology in 2002. In September 2004, Chris began working for the college as Administrative Assistant to the Director of Institutional Planning and Research, the position he currently holds. Rick Mason, Director Institutional Research

Rick has been at SKCTC for the past six years as the Coordinator of Counseling Services on the Middlesboro Campus. He took on the responsibilities of IR in March 2004. Currently, Rick remains based at Middlesboro and splits his duties between counseling and IR. Rick's primary responsibility is to collect and analyze relevant data and then present it in a way that can be used by the institution to enhance the planning process and improve its overall effectiveness. Rick is also currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Higher Education from the University of Kentucky . Rick earned an M.A. in Counseling at Eastern Kentucky University (98) and a B.S. in Elementary Education at Lincoln Memorial University (88). Sue Wyatt, Assistant Director

Sue has been with SKCTC since 1995. She originally held the position of Coordinator of Student Services until 200, when she transferred to the Office of Institutional Planning & Research. Sue is responsible for collection and analyzing student data for the Technical Education Database System (TEDS). Sue's office is located on the Middlesboro Campus. Before joining SKCTC, Sue held the position of Job Training Partnership Act Coordinator (JTPA) with the Kentucky Department for Adult & Technical Education, until accepting the position with SKCTC.
