College celebrates Women's History Month
Faculty on the Whitesburg campus of Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College are celebrating national Women's History Month.
The celebration is also being sponsored by the American Association for Women in Community Colleges and features recordings of 30 short biographies of historically prominent Kentucky women which began airing March 1 over WMMT radio 88.7.
The biographies will be aired throughout the month at 7:30 and 9:30 a.m. and during the evening at 3:30 and 6 o'clock Monday through Friday.
Southeast employees who are involved with the project include: Peggy Conklin, Sandy Holbrook, Madeline Gibson, Ginny Norris, Mildred McDannel and Sue Greer-Pitt.
