Auditions for ‘Higher Ground’ play slated
Open auditions for actors and musicians desiring to be in the acclaimed community play “Higher Ground” will begin the week of August 21 at Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College in Cumberland.
This fall, the play returns to the Edsel Godbey Appalachian Center Theater with performances set for Sept. 21-24, Sept. 28, 30 and Oct. 1 and Oct. 5, 7 and 8.
Last year, “Higher Ground” was presented six times and featured over 100 local actors and musicians.
