Gale (Infotrac)	Gale (InfoTrac) is a library subscription service made up of five databases: *Academic OneFile* - The premier source for peer-reviewed, full-text articles from the world's leading journals and reference sources. Opposing Viewpoints Resource Center – A comprehensive resource for information on today’s most important social issues. Expanded Academic ASAP – Articles and reference material from all academic disciplines. *Health Reference Center-Academic– The premier academic source for peer-reviewed, full-text articles from the world's leading journals and reference sources. Articles and reference material on health, medicine and safety. Health and Wellness Resource Center* – Articles and reference material from the consumer’s health perspective. Credo Reference	Credo Reference contains hundreds of reference books from the world's leading publishers. Find dictionaries, encyclopedias, thesauri, and books of quotations, plus a host of subject-specific titles covering everything from the arts to accountancy and law to literature. Oxford Reference Online	Oxford Reference Online brings together language and subject reference works from one of the world's biggest reference publishers into a single cross-searchable resource. It offers over 175 fully-indexed, cross-searchable dictionary, language reference, and subject reference works published by Oxford University Press, including detailed information across a broad subject range from titles in the world-renowned Oxford Companions Series. KVL	Kentucky Virtual Library contains links to book catalogs from almost 30 Kentucky libraries (academic, public, & corporate) and links to databases to find magazine articles. There is also access to the Kentuckiana Digital Library, which provides access to shared digital archive collections. Ask at the Circulation Desk for password to use the KVL off-campus.
FirstSearch	FirstSearch offers seamless electronic access to almost a dozen databases containing articles, papers, proceedings, government publications and more. FirstSearch includes WorldCat, a database that allows you to search for books and other materials in libraries worldwide. Ask at the Circulation Desk for password to use FirstSearch off-campus.
EBSCO	EBSCO offers easy access to a wide variety of popular full-text and bibliographic databases, which include full-text plus abstracts and indexing for thousands of journals and periodicals. EBSCO also offers Searchasaurus, Kids Search and Student Research Center for younger scholars. Ask at the Circulation Desk for password to use EBSCO off-campus.
NewsBank	NewsBank is one of the world's premier information providers. Its leading-edge resources contain information from newspapers, newswires, business journals, historical and scholarly documents, periodicals and more. Ask at the Circulation Desk for password to use NewsBank off-campus.
ProQuest	ProQuest provides access to these full-text databases: Career and Technical Education - Vocational and technical periodicals covering all aspects of the Vo/Tech curriculum ProQuest Computing - Top computing journals in full text for research on subjects such as database design, software development, web commerce, LANs, WANs, Intranets, and the Internet. ProQuest Nursing & Allied Health Source - Complete, full-text information from leading nursing and related publications. Alt-PressWatch - A full text database comprised of the newspapers, magazines and journals of the alternative and independent press. NetLibrary	NetLibrary is the world's premier provider of electronic books (eBooks). By combining the time-honored traditions of the library system with electronic publishing, NetLibrary offers an easy-to-use information and retrieval system for accessing the full text of reference, scholarly, and professional books. New users will need to set up a personal account. Please keep your user name and password in a safe place; the Library Staff will not be able to retrieve it for you.
Oxford English Dictionary	The Oxford English Dictionary is the accepted authority on the evolution of the English language over the last millennium. It is an unsurpassed guide to the meaning, history, and pronunciation of over half a million words, both present and past. Ask at the Circulation Desk for password to use OED off-campus.
Grolier Online	Grolier Online provides access to the Encyclopedia Americana, Grolier Multimedia Encyclopedia, The New Book of Knowledge, American Heritage Dictionaries, and a world atlas.
Literary Index	Gale's Literary Index is a master index to the major literature series published by The Gale Group. These series contain complete biographies on authors and critical essays on their writings.
Clinical Lab Technician Students	The Lab Training Library is a training resource that builds competency in clinical laboratory testing. Study and take exams on units such as urinalysis, phlebotomy, and microbiology. New users will need to register with an email address and will need to get a new lab code from the Circulation Desk.
Full-Text Journals	An Excel spreadsheet which lists all full-text journals available in SKCTC Library databases, including location and date range.
