Southeast Kentucky Community and
From
a very simple vision shared by a group of community leaders in the late 1950s
who believed that higher education was vital to the progress of southeastern
Now, as a proud member of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS), the College continues to remain true to a mission of providing area residents with opportunities for a better life through programs and services that meet their special needs.

programs and services that we must offer now and in the future in order for
southeastern Kentuckians to enjoy a standard of living that meets or exceeds
the national average and to have successful businesses and industries that are
globally competitive in an information and technology-based economy. We need
your help. We need investments and partnerships from and with individuals,
businesses and foundations in order to continue the tradition of excellence
that we started in higher education in southeastern
