NARRATIVE/JUSTIFICATION FOR JUDGMENT OF COMPLIANCE

Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College (SKCTC) has a chief executive officer, Dr. W. Bruce Ayers, President/CEO, whose primary responsibility is the implementation of KCTCS Board of Regents policies [1] as well as working cooperatively with the SKCTC Board of Directors [2].

The specific duties of the President are outlined in 1.5.6.1, College President / CEO, of the KCTCS Administrative Policies and Procedures [3].  Further, the relationship of the President relative to the College Board of Directors in regard to budget considerations is set forth in KRS 164.600 [4].
