NARRATIVE/JUSTIFICATION FOR JUDGMENT OF COMPLIANCE

As indicated in the college catalog on page 66 [1] and also on the web page for Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College [2], “For the Associate in Arts, Associate in Science, and Associate in Applied Science degrees, regardless of the time the student has attended the college, a minimum of 24 credits must be completed within the KCTCS colleges and at least 25 percent of the approved curriculum credits must be completed at the college granting the degree.  For a certificate or diploma, at least 25 percent of the approved curriculum credits must be completed at the college granting the credential.  Students must have a minimum cumulate GPA of 2.0 in order to be eligible for graduation.”

Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College adheres to this policy.  The college registrar’s office conducts degree checks to ensure compliance [3].
