Standard 3.2.13: Any Institution-related foundation not controlled by the Institution has a contractual or other formal agreement that (a) accurately describes the relationship between the Institution and the foundation and (b) describes any liability associated with the relationship.  In all cases, the Institution ensures that the relationship is consistent with its mission.

NARRATIVE/JUSTIFICATION FOR JUDGMENT OF COMPLIANCE

The Southeast Education Foundation, Inc exists as a 501c3 organization, recognized by the Internal Revenue Service [1]. The Foundation is officially affiliated with the Kentucky Community and Technical College System and follows Board of Regents Policy 7.4. [2], which provides guidelines that clearly establish a relationship between the SKCTC and the Foundation.  No liability exists in this relationship.  The Foundation exists to assist the College to address its mission and goals, and its programs are in all respects supportive of this purpose.
