NARRATIVE/JUSTIFICATION FOR JUDGMENT OF COMPLIANCE
The President of Southeast Kentucky Community & Technical College, in accordance with Kentucky Revised Statute (KRS) 164.600 [1], is recommended by the Institution’s Board of Directors from three (3) candidates to the President of KCTCS, who makes the appointment. The KCTCS Board of Regents ratifies personnel actions made in the system’s colleges, including the hiring of the college president [2].
KRS 164.600 also provides that the Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College Board of Directors with the authority to annually evaluate the community and technical college president and to advise the president of KCTCS of his or her performance [3].
