In the woods, who should I meet?

Little babies in her den
Cry for their mommy to come again.

Beautiful, wonderful birds!
Song birds, hummingbirds.
Pretty birds sitting in the trees.
Moving so fast.
Beautiful coat of feathers,
so pretty in blue weather.
Eating worms -
featherless worms.
Coming out in the day
and sleeping at night.
I love birds' singing
that sounds so nice
and their beautiful feathers
in the sunlight.

Small creatures, running fast.
Some poisonous
some deadly,
but I think they are neat.

their head in their shell

They eat ants and grass
and worms and get fat.
Sometimes they crawl

and fall asleep!
