To create a service-oriented environment responsive to the college community and the public.

Priority initiative

Maintain access to a full complement of federal and state financial aid programs.

Develop a campus-wide awareness of the need to be service-oriented, friendly, and hospitable.

Actions/ implementation procedures necessary, with anticipated start and completion dates

Implement the National Loan Student Data Base System; Provide training for all financial aid personnel

Develop a recruiting plan for each campus; Schedule a one-day retreat for all Admissions Directors to develop an annual plan of recruitment

The NLSDS system will have log-on data for review of use

Comparative data will be developed in relation to the method(s) implemented

To maintain a transfer program which is responsive to the needs of students pursuing a Baccalaureate degree.

Priority initiative

Determine (a) primary area of student interest and (b) colleges to which they will transfer as a basis for building the transfer curriculum.

Actions/ implementation procedures necessary, with anticipated start and completion dates

Develop questionnaire to be administered by Academic Advisors; Survey all students with a transfer code concerning college or university plans one time during the academic year

Resources required to carry out this plan

Personnel time from Admissions and registrar's offices

Criteria and anticipated outcomes used to measure success

1) Compare number of transfer students in computer vis-à-vis questionnaire's received

2) Tabulate results

3) Share findings with academic dean and divisions
