The Office of Institutional Planning and Research will serve the College by:
1.     Providing to the Administration, in a timely manner, such data as necessary to appropriately assess the effectiveness of all programs, offices, and functions at the College;
2.     Providing overall leadership in the planning, management, and evaluation processes of the College, including strategic, program, and resource planning;
3.     Developing training regimens for the faculty and staff to ensure that they are full participants in the planning processes of the College;
4.     Developing specific instruments to be used in the evaluation of the College, and coordinating the production and distribution of all formal reports and statistical analyses of the College to appropriate audiences;
5.     Developing, as appropriate, and administering all data-gathering instruments, such as (but not limited to) student, alumni, and employer surveys;
6.     Serving as point-of-coordination for the College's Institutional Advancement and Effectiveness Team, with the responsibility for oversight of critical components of the College's advancement and effectiveness processes;
7.     Researching possible external funding sources and providing coordination for grants-writing activities in cooperation with the Director of Development and other appropriate College personnel; and
8.     Publishing and publicizing the College's Annual Report, Annual Plan, Fact Book(s), and all other documents deemed vital to Institutional Excellence and Institutional Advancement.
