A $6.00 e-mail surcharge is assessed to ALL KCTCS students per semester. The charge is nonrefundable unless the college cancels the class.
All full-time students are required to pay an $82 Health Fee that provides healthcare coverate for students attending SECC in Harlan, Bell, and Letcher Counties. The fee is nonrefundable.
There is a $22.00 charge per KET Telecourse for students taking TV courses. The charge is nonrefundable unless the college cancels the class.
The billing statement will consist of amount due and pertinent dates concerning fee payment. Students who have not received a statement prior to open registration should contact the Business Office. Students who advance register and do not receive a statement are still liable for their payment by the payment deadline. Students registering for Intersession or Summer courses must pay the day specified as payment day in the Intersession/Summer calendar.
Tuition for Fall and Spring semester are payable in full at the beginning of classes each semester by the deadline date as specified in the semester calendar (date also listed under payment options on the website). Students who have not paid their tuition by the deadline will have their registration canceled unless signed up on the FACTS Payment Plan or have third payment written evidence of agreement to pay.
