RUMPLESTILTSKIN: Edited by Michael Corriston and written by members of the 2004 Spring Introduction to the Theatre Class.

We venture into the days of knighthood when there were greedy Kings who wanted gold and more gold. Enter a Poor Old Miller who brags that his daughter can spin straw into gold. What can the King do but test the Miller's daughter to see if she can actually spin straw into gold. She has two choices; spin the straw into gold or lose her head. While she is bemoaning her fate a little old man comes to her rescue. He saves her not just once but three times and in return if she marries the Prince she must give him her first-born child.

When the time comes to give up the child she is distraught so the little old man says if you can learn my name I will let you keep the child. To find out what happens you need to attend the production.
