MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Academic Support Center is to provide adequate academic support services so that students have a realistic opportunity for successful attainment of their educational goals.

SERVICES PROVIDED

* TUTORING - Our tutors assist students in subject areas, proof read papers, have individual and group study sessions, assist with e-mail and use of the computers, and provide other services requested by instructors.

* FREE COPYING (Cumberland Campus only)
* COMPASS TESTING
* INTERNET ACCESS- Netscape Navigator & Internet Explorer
* FOCUS II (Career Center)
* COMPUTER PROGRAMS AVAILABLE - Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher & InfoPath) Corel WordPerfect, Cliff StudyWare (ACT, Biology, Calculus, Chemistry, Economics, Physics, & Statistics) PhotoShop, Grammar Exercises, Maple V, Keyboarding Pro, Micro Pace Pro, Minitab, Visual Studio, Adobe PageMaker, Reading Road Trip, Graphical Analysis, and Starry Night.
